About

Yen-Lin (mashbean) Huang

Fascinated by the deep structure of the internet and social networks, I left clinical practice and now focus on bringing cypherpunk values into Taiwan’s digital society. I am a member of the Ethereum advisory group Silviculture Society and a 2025 visiting fellow at Harvard Kennedy School (HKS), working on democracy renovation. I previously worked at Taiwan’s Ministry of Digital Affairs on decentralized technology, and currently serve at Matters, an anti-censorship content platform. I also participate in FAB DAO, a web3 civic-tech community supporting Taiwanese nonprofits through blockchain-based coordination, with work exhibited at Ars Electronica.
